Obituary of Ruth Dorothy Rutenberg

Ruth Dorothy Rutenberg, age 92, passed away on Sunday June 15, 2014 at Arbor Glen Nursing Home in Bridgewater. Born and educated in Philadelphia, PA, Mrs. Rutenberg had resided in North Plainfield before moving to Bridgewater. Mrs. Rutenberg was a member of Temple Sholom. She was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Gertrude Joffe. She is survived by her husband Morton Rutenberg, a son Joel Rutenberg and his wife Gini; a brother Allan Joffe; a sister Sylvia Magerman. She is also survived by three grandchildren Amy, Adam and David Rutenberg, as well a great-grandson Benjamin Best. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday June 18, 2014 with Rabbi Joel Abraham officiating at Higgins Home for Funeral s 752 Mountain Blvd. Watchung NJ 07069 followed by the interment at Mount Lebanon Cemetery in Iselin NJ.
