Just happened to be thinking of the woman I worked with at the National Institutes of Health in 1957-58. It is strange that I have difficulty remembering the names of people I met yesterday, but the name of Mary Cumisky Trapasso popped right into my head! I figured there would not be too many of those, and there was only one. She was the right age with the right history. She and I corresponded at Christmas for many years, but eventually I lost track of her. I was very interested to learn of her career shift. I am now 86 but not so sharp mentally anymore. I did go on to earn a PhD and work for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis and the American Cancer Society in Atlanta. Mary was indeed a lovely person, and she gratefully gave me a ride home from work every day from Bethesda to Silver Spring, MD.
