Dear Paula Ann:
This is to you, Jack, Uncle Gordon and your families…Connie and I are so saddened by the loss of your Mom and have no appropriate words that will heal the sting of your collective loss.
Aunt Lily was the most unique and different aunt anyone could have! She was simply “HIP” in the old vernacular…she knew what was going on with her nieces and nephews. I loved all my Aunts and Uncles but Aunt Lily was special. She just seemed to be cool with kids and that made me love her that much more. She’s the only aunt that ever gave me a nick name (Gus Gink) which was knowledge based on her part, right? I mean she had to have some insight to even tag me!
I’m confident and happy to know that she is with all of her loving family that has been waiting for her. And the video posted on the notice should simply be: “LILY JOLLY-The Movie” The video story of one Happy Woman”
If there is a Dubois, PA in heaven, I want to see her there someday…that was a meeting place for her and Poppy a few times over the years and they both thoroughly enjoyed being together.
I could go on and on and my heart is broken that I lost my dearest Aunt and a woman of distinction, indeed!
