Rest In Peace Uncle Joe.
Our hearts go out to Joey, Zoli and their families.
Joe was a terrific Uncle and we always looked forward to our visits with him because he always made us smile, laugh and even groan. He was a master of Dad jokes before the phrase existed.
He taught us a lot about our Hungarian heritage for which I am very grateful. In recent years I have been able to sit in on FaceTime calls with him and my mother (his sister) and enjoyed their warm sibling banter. On these calls I marveled at his resilience and how he found humor in his doctor visits and regaled us with funny stories even when he was battling his illness.
We loved him very much and he lives on in our hearts.
