My grandmother was an Angel who walked this earth. She loved her family, doted on her grandkid and she always loved helping people. She would bake pies for my elementary school teachers just because she appreciated them for teaching me and she knew I loved learning because of them. She would pick me up from school and the first thing she would always ask was how my day was. She would carry my backpack and always have the best food waiting for me. She taught me how to ride my bike without training wheels and would go on my class field trips. She helped in any way she could. I’m missing her especially on Thanksgiving but I know she’s watching us from above and in a better place than all of us. I’m thankful for all the memories, love, and laughs she gave me. And I’m thankful for the Higgins team doing a wonderful job helping our family during this time. I love you grandma.
