I just now see this nearly two years later.... Heinzi, Gisela and my parents, Wolfgang & Hannelore Schleu were friends for 65 years...... All four of them immigrants from Germany to pursue the American dream, like so many others. And it came true for all of them.
I loved Heinzi & Gisela very much, even as a child.....So many nice memories..... My Mother is now 92 and still lives with me. She was very sad to hear this news. The attached photo is April 2016, when Gisela came to visit us in our home in Boca Raton. RIP Gisela. We will see you and Heinzi and Daddy again someday.......
