I met Rich a couple months ago when I started hanging out with him when Carole had errands to run. He was so friendly and welcoming from the very first day and gave me a hug when we met. We spent the time watching baseball games, eating his favorite chocolate, talking about classic cars and every once in a while, when I could talk him into it, we would go outside and take a walk around the neighborhood. I was sorry to hear he passed last Saturday but I know he is finally at peace. I had just been at the rehab to visit with him and Carole that morning and I am so thankful I had a final chance to see and talk to him. I know he will be missed by many people. My sincere sympathy to Carole and his family.
