This news definitely reaches us at BD with great sadness. I have not worked with Paul for many years, but I did work closely with him as he developed new designs for the BD Phaseal Optima protectors. In addition to remembering his kind and gentle nature, I am also reminded of his inventive mind. He never shied away from a challenge - he was always ready to solve a need. I shared this news with other colleagues and they all commented on the impact he made on each of them. His smile, his caring nature, his love for his daughter, his work ethic, his willingness to help, his innovative ideas...these are all aspects that we remember. Paul's legacy will live on in the numerous medical devices he invented and improved. He will be greatly missed. Our deepest condolences to the family.

Such an untimely loss of our closest family friend and “kum”, breaks our hearts. Our “cika Paja”, how the kids call him, was one of the most compassionate and caring human beings we have ever encountered. Many wonderful memories will keep Paul in our hearts and prayers forever.
