I was raised from a child by 3 phenomenal women; my grandmother Sophia (Sophie), my mother Eleanora, and my Aunt Eileen. From my earliest memories, us all together living in a 2 family house on Richard Street in Jersey City, to spending Friday nights and weekends with Aunt Eileen & Uncle Frank in Towaco - a weekly migration offloading me from my Grandmother in Boonton where I spent the weekdays, week in and week out. Some of my fondest memories were watching Creature Features, Thriller, and every classic horror movie imaginable, each and every weekend drinking ice cream sodas and munching on devil dogs or white mountain powder hard rolls with butter. Later in life, when my mother traveled away for work or settling on a new location to relocate to, my Aunt Eileen and Uncle Frank took me in as their own - when I was a freshman in High School, and later still when starting work and college prior to my joining the Air Force. They in fact willingly served as my surrogate mother and father on so many occasions, and I still hold them in highest esteem today. Aunt Eileen showed me a higher standard of achievement, and living, with words and actions that branded my deepest core with a willingness to succeed and be successful to my highest degree of capability. Her words echoed and continued echoing throughout my younger days, guiding me and granting perseverance in many of the challenges and obstacles I faced. When I was in England, now detached from the USAF, I didn't want to return stateside until I achieved what she ignited within me. I wanted her to be proud of me, despite my wanderlust in not following the textbook path that was laid before me previously. I wanted to show her, that her words and actions mattered, and molded me into the person I am today. The family bond, and the love she exuded knew no bounds, and the love I have for her is ever immortalized in my soul.

My heart is so heavy to hear of Eileen's passing. I can't think of my childhood years, growing up on Fox Hill Drive West without remembering Frank and Eileen. They were fun, funny, generous, kind and loyal friends who always showed up for us, no matter what came our way. I know Eileen's passing leaves a huge hole in the hearts of everyone who loved her, especially her dear family. Wishing you all peace at this very sad time. Love, Amy (Anderson) Conahan

The world lost a bright light with Eileen's passing. I have so many happy, silly, crazy memories of the years in Warren and Eileen is present in all with a happy smile and a joke to tell. My condolences to Frank, Jen, Chris and the rest of the family...

I first met Eileen in the summer of 1955 when she was 12 years old, and I fell madly in love with her. After being discharged from the Marine Corps in 1959, I tried and failed to find out where she lived. But then, I met her again at a local dance in 1960 at a club on Danforth Avenue, Jersey City and we started dating. I would not repeat losing her again and pursued her until she agreed to marry me. October 27, 1962 we married and started on our happy journey. Eileen was the director of my life and steered me in the right direction. I owe her everything and am lost without her. If there is an afterlife, I wish that we meet again. I will always love her. Rest peacefully Chad.

Aunt Eileen Was truly an amazing person. The love her and my Uncle Frank shared was out of this world. So many wonderful memories. When my mom and I would Drive up and stay with Uncle Frank and aunt Eileen to visit, we would have coffee listening to Barry White sing my first my last my everything and her and my uncle dancing, the food, the laughter the love was abundant. The family has lost an amazing matriarch. But I know her and mama are up in heaven talking in Polish About us and having the time of their life. Keeping my uncle, Chris, Jennifer, Danny, and Jason covered in prayer.

Jim and I remember Eileen as a wonderful wife, mother and friend. There are so many funny and serious memories during our time raising children and attending school and swim meets in Warren. Eileen was both classy and down to earth. We will miss her. Love to Frank, Chris and Jennifer- may you find peace in your memories and know she made a difference in our lives, Ginny and Jim Higgins

It's hard to imagine a force such as Eileen is no longer with us! There are so many who will miss her in many, many ways.
I couldn't possibly list all the fun memories we made together. And, since I don't know the statute of limitations in NJ, I will just leave it up to Frank to smile at those memories!!!
Chris and Jen, you were blessed to have had your mother be part of yours and your children's lives. She loved you all enormously.
