I'll never forget the first time I met Haydee. She walked into Room 4 at Supertots where my co-worker and I were taking care of her son, Christopher. She came in with the brightest smile and was so warm and friendly. The first thing she did was to thank us for all that we do for Christopher. She also said it several more times before she left. From that day on, whenever she was at Supertots she'd be sure to thank every teacher she saw for all that they do. It never mattered if she knew that particular teacher or not. It didn't even matter if the teacher took care of her son or not. She simply made sure that each teacher felt appreciated.
Haydee had such a remarkable way of making everyone feel special. She was so generous and would do anything for anyone. I'm so grateful for the gift of our friendship. Just knowing her has made me a better person.
I'll miss her terribly and will never forget her. May God bless Haydee, His brand new angel.
