I will always cherish the memories of Mr. Brazill and the rest of the Brazill clan; they are some of foundest and most engrained childhood memories. He was so much fun to be around and generous with everything he had. I remember him taking me on boat rides (and scaring me), yelling at me to get out of the shower, getting me out of bed to go to church in Lake Placid, being at my Wedding, and being great fun at all family events. I will miss him dearly and will always have a place for him in my heart. God Bless.

Teresa, I was just telling my daughters about last night's viewing. I have never seen anything like the scene at Higgins. We started our school day trying to calculate the number of people who came to pay respects to your Dad. It is overwhelming to think of how many people he touched. We decided, because of your Dad, that our goal in life would be to try to live like your Mom and Dad and to try our best to have a positive effect on as many people in our lives as we possibly can. Jimmy and I, on the way home last night recognized what a better place the world was because of your Dad. That is exactly what we are here for and he set a beautiful example of what our purpose on earth is. You should be so proud and grateful to have been blessed with two awesome parents. We love you. Gail and Jimmy and girls.

Bob Crocco posted a condolence
Tuesday, February 10, 2004
I was so saddened to learn of Burt. Sr.'s untimely passing. Our main office only forwarded the news to me today.
My association with Burt goes way back to the early 1970's when I worked for the export division of Baitinger Electric with Bob Clark, Pete Stracka and Joe Panzarella (of Baitinger) and Don Burtis (who had formed Credex). My initial impression of Burt Sr. was right on the mark; he immediately struck me as a man who exuded a rare blend of class and purity of heart combined with a down-home approach to solving any problems that came about. In an industry that on occasion has been known to lack those basic elements of the human spirit, it was always a pleasure dealing with him as well as with his loyal employees.
He will be missed.
Sincerely,
Bob Crocco

Through the years, as Maegin Electric Supply and continuing with Cooper Electric Supply, it has been a pleasure to deal with the professional organization that Burt established. He was a gem of the industry and will be greatly missed. Having been in this industry over 30 years I have had the pleasure of knowing some of the great people that are no longer with us, Burt is definitely a member of this eternal "club".
Having lost my parents, and grandparents, I can earnestly say that I have a greater feeling than I ever did that there is much more to our being than this earthly life, they are fulfilling a much greater purpose now that they have left us.
My prayers are with you.
