Heartbreaking news. I will always remember a man whose face lit up when he was talking about his family -- and whose wry smile so often reflected his humility and amazement at what a wonderful life he had. A very good man. I'm sorry we were never able to re-explore our old neighborhoods together. Much love from our family to the entire Banfield clan.

I worked with Joe at Microwave Semiconductor. He always had time and patience to explain technical issues for nontechnical individuals as I during our work together. Joe will be remembered for his friendly demeanor who always had time for a friend willing to go the extra mile. May the many fond memories of his love comfort you

Joe Banfield....the kindest most caring and loving husband, father and grandfather I have ever and most likely will ever know. His generosity and joy in giving made his eyes sparkle with delight. He was so proud of his family and held all his friends close and dear. Joe will be missed in so many ways. There is a very big hole where he once stood.
With my deepest heartfelt sympathy and love,
Bonnie Johnson
