Obituary of Joseph S. Pepe, III

Joseph S. Pepe, III, 47, died on Friday, March 26 at Overlook Hospital in Summit. Born in Summit, he resided in Warren for six years, formerly of Springfield, where he had lived most of his life. Mr. Pepe was a career firefighter for the township of Springfield for the past 12 years. Prior to that, he had been a volunteer firefighter in Springfield for 13 years. He and his brother Steven co-owned Sneaker Mania and Sports located at Blue Star Shopping Center in Watchung for the past 15 years. He received a B.S. degree from West Liberty State College in West Virginia. Surviving are his beloved wife Susan Murphy Pepe, a son Joseph R. Albiez of Warren, and a daughter Kaitlin C. Albiez of Warren; his parents Joseph S. Pepe, Jr. and Anne Patrick Pepe of Martinsville; two brothers, Steven J. Pepe and his wife Beverly and their two children Kendell and Steven W. of New Providence, NJ and Daniel R. Pepe and his wife Cathy and their two children Daniel and Jake of Annandale, NJ.
