Dr Kreskey was 'one tough nut' on first year teachers (1965). As the year progressed I found that the more prepared I was and the more skillful at my job the softer Joe became; perhaps I learned a thing or to and hopefully I passed along those lessons to my students for that is what makes Teachers immortal.

I'll always remember the first time I met Gramps. I caught Grandy and him eating gummy bears in the early morning when everyone was still in bed. Gramps spotted me and invited me to join them. I happily jumped up on his lap and filled my mouth with red gummy bears. I love you Gramps, always and forever!

It's difficult to believe that JAK is no longer with us. I always thought that he was invincible! Throughout the years that I worked with him as a supervisor and an administrator, I knew that he was devoted to the children and the adults who made up the Edison educational community. May he in peace.

What sad news to hear! I worked at the Board while Dr. Kreskey was there and although he could be tough at times, he had kindness and compassion along with a sense of humor that many never realized. He was truly one of a kind and although he will be greatly missed, he will always live on in our hearts and memories. My condolences to the family.

I was deeply saddened to learn about your dear husband, Dr. Kreskey. Ursula, I remember many years when you started dating and what a special person I felt you must have been to capture such a special individual as Dr. Kreskey, a man I admired and respected during many years I worked with him in the personnel department. Carl and I extend our deepest condolences to you and your family.

I have fond memories of Dr. Kreskey during my years in the Edison school system. He was a great support to both my brother and I during our selection of colleges and beyond. His belief in us and our abilities was critical to who we are today. But he also had a profound effect on my mother's life in supporting her career on the Board of Ed. She became a re-invented woman, and for that I am eternally grateful.
I always looked to Dr. Kreskey with affection, wishing he were a relative. I never told him, but always wanted him to teach me to fish.
I will miss him.

Dr. Kreskey's role in the quality education received by countless thousands of Edison Township students cannot be understated. As a student of the Edison High School Class of '84, I found him to be an exceptional resource and a great human being who gave me extemely valuable insights and advice during my years in the Edison school system. Dr. Kreskey found a way to always act in the best interest of all students and put a very high value on the impact of an outstanding education. While he will be missed, the legacy he leaves behind will not be forgotten. I wish peace and comfort to his family at this time of loss.

As a supervisor who worked under him,I always appreciated his dedication to excellence and his pursuit of that quality in the Edison schools. There haven't been many days that have passed when I haven't thought of him and our interaction through the years we worked together. He has made an indelible imprint on our school system. Dear Ursala and Family,
I was so sorry to hear of Dr. Kreskey's passing.
I worked with Dr. Kreskey in Edison from 1966 to 1978, as a teacher, department head and Chair of the Curriculum Coordinating Committee.
It was his leadership and dedication to the children of Edison Township that have made it the good district it is today.
After leaving education I have kept my hand in education, in good part because of the respect I have for Dr. Kreskey. I currently serve on the Sayreville Board of Education and as a member of the Board of Trustees for the Arts and Education Council of Middlesex County (Arts High School and Middle School).
My deepest condolences.
