Yesterday was such a
sad day when I learned that Paul had died. I began working for the fiberglass division of Burlington Industries in October of 1968 and I have many fond memories of Paul. He was such a decent man and he cared for the people that worked for and with him. A few of us that are still with BGF and remember working for Paul in the R&D lab spent a good part of the day talking about Paul and how he influenced the way we do our jobs and interact with fellow employees and customers. He encouraged us to always do the best we can, to be proud of the work we did,
and to treat everyone with respect. I think our customers knew this and that is why BGF was and is still so well thought of not only by our customers but even by our competitors.
On a personal note, my career and even my life has been enriched by having worked with and for Paul for almost 25 years. I will always remember Paul as not only being a good boss, but even more importantly, a
mentor and a friend.</b></font><br><br>
