I was very saddened to hear of your loss. I was a 1965 LHS classmate and friend of Ken's. We would often play pool in my basement in Lyndhurst. In addition, I worked for PSE&G for 37 years and often saw Ken around the tower. I'll share one or two stories about Ken with you that you may or may not have heard, but I still recall. Ken was, at the time, a huge Mickey Mantle fan and removed the numeral "7" (Mantle's number) from the Geometry room door which originally was room 27. The teacher never found out who removed it. In addition, with my last name starting with a "U", and Ken's with a "W", he often sat directly behind me. I still can hear that same geometry teacher yelling...Bartolazzi,Rizzo, Umland, Wangler, I'll see you all at 3:05 for detention.!!
I recently retired from PSE&G and moved to North Carolina and talked with Kenny at length shortly before my leaving. He was always regarded as a nice guy by everyone and will certainly be remembered as such. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Oh my Kenny,
We laughed so much!! Although I met you through Hank, we shared the same sick sense of humor. Now I promise to stop smoking!!! I'll always remember you at the class reunions! I was so short and you were so tall! I didn't know anyone except PSEG friends!!! You will always be in my heart and may God Bless your family in this time of sorrow. Be happy now...finally without PSEG

If the world is said to rest on the shoulders of a few good men, Ken is one upon whose shoulders it rests. There are men upon whom the rest of the world relies upon to make life joyous and Ken filled this world with more happiness than most of us will ever need. I will henceforth pray once for him, but thereafter, I will pray to him, for surely he is with God.
